What I Ate Then, What I Eat Now And How I Maintain My Weight Loss

Today was a build up of all I have learned and shared so far in Parts 1-6 of my Series. I answer some of the most commonly asked questions I get from people. There are so many unknowns and so many “myths” that surround Weight Loss Surgery and I hope I’ve been able to clear up some of those for you.

In the video below I will share what my eating habits were before Weight Loss Surgery, what I have created them to be now and how I maintain my weight loss.

I believe that there is a PERFECT Trifecta of COMPLETE BALANCE that it takes to be successful in your weight loss journey throughout your lifetime. That Trifecta is MINDSET, BALANCED NUTRITION and FITNESS. Finding a structure and paying attention to your body will eventually lead you to success.

One of the assumptions about Weight Loss Surgery is that the surgery alone allows you to loose the weight and because your stomach is now a small pouch, you don’t ever have to worry about being over weight again. FALSE, DOUBLE FALSE, FALSE FALSE FALSE!!! All that couldn’t be further from the TRUTH!! Yes, Weight Loss Surgery is a TOOL that will help you get a jump start on your weight loss but you MUST create a new healthy lifestyle to further that weight loss as well give your body what it needs to function properly. As I mentioned in yesterday’s Vlog, Nutritional Deficiency is an issue and occurs frequently in Weight Loss Surgery patients. You need to pay extra special attention to EVERYTHING you put in your body and be aware of how your body reacts to it.

Taking on Weight Loss Surgery is a HUGE responsibility and should never EVER be taken lightly or looked at as the “easy” way out!
