Mindset Motivation ~ Is Love Present?
Allowing Love To Be Present Is An Important Piece Of A Positive Mindset
Who knew there were so many aspects to a Healthy Mindset? You might be thinking “How does Love impact the mind?” I used to wonder the same thing! Today I was inspired to this blog when I was in a Mindfulness, Meditation and Breathing class and my Friend Michelle was teaching and she spoke about Love and the love we allow ourselves and the love we have for others. It had me thinking…..do I embrace the love that others have for me? Do I truly let it in? Of course we know we are loved but do we just leave it at knowing or do we actually experience it.
Definition of LOVE:
~strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties
~affection and tenderness felt by lovers
~affection based on admiration, benevolence, or common interests
~the object of attachment, devotion, or admiration
~unselfish loyal and benevolent
When I first read the definition I had it as all of the above was meant from me to “OTHERS” but that can and should be meant towards ourselves as well. When we have true love for ourselves, we can be more powerful in the love we have for others. When we have true love for ourselves, we can be completely open to the love that others have for us.
Understanding how to love myself and even allowing how to love myself took lots of work and practice but the freedom that I’ve been lucky enough to experience has been amazing and something that I want for all of you!!
Loving yourself is not selfish!
Loving yourself is not conceited!
Loving yourself is powerful!
Loving yourself is freedom!
Loving yourself is pure happiness!
